So it looks like I'll be scraping GV51, crying shame as she is essentially still a very good car.

What parts are worth saving?
What sells quickly?

I don't want a pile of bits to find a home for, I've already got a garage full of mini, maestro and montego parts.

What interior does it have? I want a alcantara one

Put the whole thing on ebay mate - 99p no reserve - 3 day auction and it'll go...

or - Wheels, interior, inlet manifold, headlights, centre console, ecu with keys should be easy enough - but price is everything - start it all at 99p and it'll go.

If you've got the space, front and rear bumpers, boot lid.

It's not Alcantara and it's already sold anyway.

but I'll get £120 from the local scrapyard if I deliver it.

It's got a sheddist has it not? That will sell in minutes pretty much.

but before I do I want to remove anything that'll move quickly so it'd be useful to know what bits do so :)

Really narrowing your market if you aren't willing to post bits james,

Yeah, I know that. Not keen on posting doors abroad.

The whole idea of this thread was to know what people who'd broken cars thought was worth saving.

Scotland isn't abroad. Brakes, seats, steering wheel, wheels, door handles and thats maybe about whats worth taking off unless you are going to strip and list the entire car on ebay

Back to the original question, what parts are worth saving? I'm not afraid to strip cars, I've done several over the years

but I need to do this quickly for my own personal sanity and domestic harmony.

don't care for tyres.

Also, v6 front cam to cam plastic cover, the one in middle of engine bay that sits up by rad.
cps, cam sensor, map sensor & tps if going cheap?
Just trying to build up a spares package...

Really narrowing your market if you aren't willing to post bits james,

I have been posting small parts now, not keen to get into sending bits that need pallets.
