Does anyone here know Audi wiring?

It's a long shot I know but I have an A3 rear light with loom and need to know what the colours mean and I can try to get it sorted before cutting my headlining up haha.

I'm looking for either a wiring diagram or an explanation of the wires in the loom plug so I can wire it in.
the plug is numbered 1-6 with pin six having no input on this loom.

1. Brown -
2. Brown/White -
3. Brown/Black -
4. Red/Black -
5. Blue/Grey -

Also I read somewhere that the VAG lighting is earth switched. Is this true? And will this mean my live switched loom won't work?

I've searched high and low and the Audi forums are just ignoring me.

This is purely a guess but is the brown live power and the 2 brown/trace switched lives.

Then the other 2 are earths.

Does the light have a circuit board? Can you photo it?

I think I read somewhere that it was earth= brown. :/

Brown is power in MGR and in most mains wiring.

but having looked at those pictures I have a gut feeling that this light may use some sort of canbus information, I also wonder if it is shallow enough to go in the lining.

Thanks guys I've looked through the workshop manual with no luck unfortunately.
Hoping it isn't canbus. It's off a 2000 car so thought it might work.
Could do a Renault one or another if I can :/
