I'm confused, it seems to be an auction but he is implying that the price is £3,400

A few odd things, it has no reserve but he seems to want £3400, someone has bid it up in £2 steps, shill bidding ?.

Am I missing something? I can't see the current mileage.

He doesn't state the current mileage, just that he changed the timing belt at 93k when he bought it, so it must be at least 93k+.

Why is it listed in the wrong category as well, that might seriously limit the number of views.

I did chuck in little bid as it's currently worth more as parts but once you've got over there and paid for a ferry back it gets expensive.

Looks immaculate from the pictures and seems well looked after, would be sacrilege to strip such a rare car for parts.
Hope it finds a good home.

3 things, the seller needs to place the auction in the right category, write a much better ad with plenty of good pics, get real about its value, the last diesel with the same spec sold on ebay for £1700, it was slightly older on a 54 plate with less miles, all my own opinion of course.

I didn't say I'd break it, it's just one way of valuing a car.

Properly advertised that car would sell like hot cakes.

£2.5K ....

Interesting to see if it actually goes considering he wanted £2.7K for it or reappears for sale with the winner being "unable to raise funds".

The first time it was listed a "time waster" failed to complete the sale, I wonder if something similar might happen again.

Although for ebay I thought the price pretty fair, he claims he was offered £2700 by someone in NI.

His thread on .org says he is happy with 2.5k, after previously saying that if it didn't make 2.7k he would sell to the buyer in NI who had made the high offer.

Fair enough, wrong end of the stick there, my apologies :(
