Hi all, just wanted your view on fitting the thermostat as before i put the genuine new kit on i wanted to know if anybody has used a gasket sealant as it doesn't look like a very good design for a tight fit...so just wanted to know if anybody has done something different which has done a good job..cheers Deano :smile1:

All I used was Vaseline on the joints to aid fitting and stops the seals from getting nipped. Also helps to get the hoses on.

Vaseline or a dab of grease thinly spread is as good as anything.
