Don't know if anyone watched the rx7 they did on wheeler dealers tonight but it just made me want to go out in the ZS.

So 11pm , grab my shoes and the girlfriends like where the hell are you going ..... "out for a spin" .. got a ear full that I just filled up lol

Just had such a blast , first time I've really pushed since I built it , hankooks hold the road like glue .

Also cracked 140mph on a private road of course ;)

Quarter of a tank of petrol gone but best money I've spent in a long while.

Was interesting, especially as I've just replaced my ZS with an RX-8! Not that I would ever ruin mine with such awful graphics and colour schemes! That new cooling sytem was awesome as was the clever remapping.

Saw the tail end of that last night, previous owner bought it back!

Good to hear the zed is going well though.

Yeah I saw this. I thought it wasn't one of their best shows. Didn't like the graphics etc. It wasn't what I would call a restoration like some of the shows they do.

That's what annoyed me too, I was hoping to learn a lot more about the Rotary and the RX-7 itself. Fairly pointless show, it didn't even get a new owner.

Had to read that twice. At first I thought you'd took your girlfriends shoes!

It was interesting but in my opinion they ruined the look of the car.

Was a strange makeover. .

Engine mods and remap were good though..

The previous owner must have had money to burn lol..

It's a TV entertainment show not a documentary...previous owner just paid them to do a personal makeover you'd have to WANT snakeskin wheels and the air con ripping out there is no way you would select to do that if you wanted to put the car on the open market and sell at a profit.
....I reckon an "arrangement" between owner and TV producer..
I thought it was a poor programme to be honest they should stick to the successful format...or watch the rating fall

I agree with the above, I watched the program earlier, and it struck me that it was all set up, if you were going to flip the car you wouldn't bother with the hydro dipping, graphics, uprated rad and intercooler, or standalone management.

I do like the old ones where ed is filling dents or replacing trim here and there. My fav is the Morgan where ed had to replace the whole chassis.

The best ones are where ed refurbs the mechanics of the car as you can learn something instead of just seeing how they hydrodip alloys.

Wasn't a set up at all. Just a shame as some have said that no more fettling and tuning was done.

Visit the Mazda RX owners club and you will know that your statement is bull.

Who's that aimed at ?.

I liked the little BMW Isetta they did today, think they are so much more entertaining than Gas Monkey.

Gas Monkey rebuilt a smashed F40.

was looking at TVR's but we think the ZS's are bad, TVR's sound 10 x worse.

That chassis was well rotted away.

There is someone up in the Lake District that sells accident C and D write offs, thought it was a cheap way to get a newish one.
