Think I would ask for the make of bearings etc.

I'd only use o/e makers bearings or a good named one. Dont know what you have been quoted for, but worth asking the question.

I have a spare gearbox off the track car. Is still sitting in the back seat area of it. Worked with no issues before removal although probably take the opportunity to regrease the arm. Closer than Hull and could get it yourself.

I'm 99% sure this is the place I got a spare door from, told it was complete and in VGC. When it arrived it was missing the door card, glass and quarter window (rear door) also it had a few dents here and there and the bottom edge was a bit rusty. So less than VGC!

Its still in my garage just gonna give it to the scrap man.

They have quite a bit of negative feedback, I would avoid using them myself.

I bought some O/E rear facing seats for my Montego estate from a firm called Viking Rover spares in Hull in 1998 (while MG was dormant). When they arrived they were cheap after market copies that were less new than I paid. Their response was "well, they fit don't they!"

I wonder if they are the same company with a new name?

Can the box not be reconned?

I think his original box only needs diff bearings.
