My 2 front tyres need renewing and was wondering what people recommend?
I don't want cheap ones or particularly expensive ones......

Ive heard people also go for Avon and Kuhmo as they fit in a similar bracket

Same as Pete, Hankook Ventus V12,

Wear well and are quite on the road, with good grip.

I managed my fastest quarter mile on a set of avons. They took a lot of punishment and we'll recommended from me

I'd recommend the Hankook V12s as well, I think they're pretty much in the sweet spot for performance and price.

I like the Hankook V12 and Avon ZZ3's myself, very close and the Avons seem to had improved IMO as I found the Hankooks to be quite a bit better a while ago but hard to separate them now :)

Whatever you get I'd move the rear wheels to the front and fit the new tyres to the rear, then when the "new" fronts need replacing get those wheels moved to the rear again.

I found Falken Ziex 912 very short lived. I got less than 10K miles out of a set of 4!!
Grip was good in wet and dry.
I think the Michelin Pilot's my first ZS180 came with would top my choice of tyres.
Handling was second to none in all conditions and they still had useful tread when I sold the car on at 22K miles.
