After owning it for 5 weeks, I may have to let my ZS go after missus has lost her job and we may not be able to afford 2 motors. So before I sell, im wanting your opinions on how much I should expect or ask.

just to make admins aware, this is not a selling car, I am wanting your opinion thats all.

My ZS Engine rebuild thread.... to give you an idea of work gone into it.

I would also include the other engines parts which are 100% working as spares such as:
Alternator
Startor motor
Injectors
Head gaskets (still on bulk of engine)
Wiring Loom for mk2
All sensors
Throttle body
Inlet manifold
Exhaust Manifold
Clutch
Flywheel (not the best condition)

Best the sell the parts separate on ebay. I don't think you'll get more than £1600.00 even tho you have changed the engine and done belts

Advertise it for £2K - belts done and take offers.

Belts done is a big plus and red saloons are rarely available.

Any VIS motors on the old engine?

I sold the inlet manifold with VIS motors for £70 earlier this week. Sorry.

I was thinking £2,000 too, so over the weekend I will be doing this. Such a shame as its the first ZS I have felt 100% confident in.

So if anyone wants more information inbox me.

Think I'd sorn it as well, then sell the bits on eBay/forums.

Would seem a shame to let it go with all that effort, but then again I've been in that same situation before and it's a tough one to call.

Lovely example of a red MK II though.
