The number listed is incorrect, or at least I cant get hits with it, even when you change the letter O's for number 0's.

It is not in the engine mount diagram on rimmers. But if u have one and it is not shot I might go for that. Mine is gone, so much that the engine lateral movement drives the left drive shaft too far into the gearbox. Makes a terrible racket on fast hard rights. Basically nothing stopping the engine from lateral movement until the metal hits metal on that damper.

It isn't on the diagram, but it is in the parts list further down the page.

This guy has a picture of the part number on the part, so it is 440.

It is an odd quirk that some parts have a number on them which doesn't show on the epc, T16 cam carriers also have a part number which doesn't show on the epc, I think it has something to do with parts that go together to make an assembly.

The 440 is the number of the bracket which comes as part of a new mount, the bracket isn't available as a separate part, in effect they're quoting the wrong part number.

It is the damper part I need, I will have everything on the car anyway.

Just been in the garage to check and it looks fine, certainly didn't give me no lateral movement that I'm aware of. How can I check it now it's off the car?

I don't know to be honest. My mech used a 3 foot pry bar against the engine to test mine, but out of the car that would not be an option. Does the rubber part look intact, no cracks or missing chunks?

If you pull the mount to one side you can see a crack around the base of the shaft where it disappears into the rubber, but looks to be only surface deep to me.

Ok, here's the plan, I have bought the unit from ebay that was in the link. It is a total unknown so we will wait until it arrives and I can get a look at it. If it is worse that yours then I'll get in contact with you regarding acquiring your unit.
