Well the weekend came and went in a flash but had a good day yesterday cleaning the car and adding a few recently purchased bits to her.

Hope you enjoy the shots!

Sanded and polished the headlights, they came up a treat. Such an improvement from what they were but need to buy some UV treatment for them:

Fitted new Union flags to replace the old tatty, faded items:

Fitted seat backs with leather map pockets:

Fitted a leather, padded armrest to replace the non-padded vinyl item that came with the car. Again it's only small but makes a big improvement to the cabin:

Fitted the earlier Rover 45 steering wheel with thumb bumps and audio controls:

Gave the interior a good clean and went over the alcantara with the de-bobbler:

Cheeky rear-end shot:

Finally fitted the ITG Maxogen and gave the engine a long overdue steam clean:

Interior is pretty much there on it now I think, just keeping my eye out for some early door cards with the insert and am trying to make my mind up about the Rover air vents.

Anyway thanks for looking!

Those pictures are absolutely huge! My iPad is struggling lol!

Nice additions to the car mate!
Glad your enjoying the ITG too!

Good work on the headlights too. I'll have to get mine done as they're terrible.

Cheers for all the great feedback guys, after 10 months with the ZS I finally feel like it is 'mine' now.

Good spot, I will top that up later. ITG sounds immense, wouldn't know it was there under 3,000 revs but at full throttle it's got a really nice roar. It actually sounds like a V6 now

Just ordered a set of Rover air vents from eBay so will make my mind up when they arrive.

My ITG is exactly the same - don't hear it until you open her up, then she roars!

i love mine. at curborough the other week, despite there being a rover 4.6 litre V8 TR8 and a 2 litre westfield, i was told my car had the best soundtrack, either as a passenger or as a sepctator. it is very nice. I think the de-cat helps the soundtrack too.

It's coming along very nicely, although I don't like the door cards with inserts. I tried them in my old saloon. What with the silver vent rings and black oak dash it didn't team together well at all. Way too much going on, less is more sometimes I think.
