When I got the car Kev had wrapped the B pillar trims in carbon fibre effect wrap, unfortunately this was beginning to get a bit tatty an I fancied a change so bought some replacements from a strange man.
I finally got round to rubbing em down and painting them up but went Anthracite instead of pearl black as that's what was in stock. Quite pleased with finish and after a few weeks I plan on a bit of wet and dry to flat em down a bit but even them now they are not too bad tbh:) nothing spectacular but I like it as a kind of oe+ thing hehe

How they were

Cheers guys:)
Hopping they will shine up after a wet an dry session Pete as there's plenty clear laquer on there so think a flat and polish would work??

ah right, if they've already been clear coated then wet + dry and a polish should bring them up a treat.

Cheers pete, aye I reckon my prep could have been better for a smooth glossy finish. Think I should have sanded the grain a smidge more but a flat should work well:)

Looks good - on my maestros I did the pillers in satin black, much prefered it to the O/E gloss.

Much better than the carbon mate! Might have to steal that idea ;)

Cheers Luke, I had also planned on having a logo or something in silver/grey or black on each trim under the lacquer so it was visible but very subtle probably just the octagon or similiar....unfortunately time and patience dictated this as a no but may revisit this ideas too:)
