It is not so much a plug 'n' play for the Mk1 ZS, the headlights are slightly different to the Mk2's as the HID bulb hits the reflector on the headlight so the bulb has to be spaced bak in the holder for it to work properly, PM Leasky he has the Mk1 with HIDs, and he is selling his so maybe he'll swap your headlights for his?

Yeah all Mk1 owners that want to fit HID's!, It's an easy fix though, I done it to Leaskys car and they passed an MoT, just a bit of jigging about.

there is a company (i think it is hids4u or something like that) who do a shorter bulb specifically for this problem. Not cheap (as hid bulbs aren't) but a much better fix IMO.

As per my PM they won't fit in the Mk1. I didn't know about the spacer idea but if I were you I'd get some decent Zennon bulbs for the same money. They won't be as bright but they are quite close.

Halfrauds have a 2 for 1 offer on them just now - or if you are feeling flush get some Osram Nightbreakers. Fantastic quality

i have nightbreakers in mine. you just need to make sure the allignment is spot on as mine isnt and with the extra brightness lots of people flashed till i dipped them with the adjuster switch.

I have the same problem with the HID's, I run them one notch down all the time now and problem solved!
