As above. The previous owner put silicone bathroom sealant around the rear lip spoiler and I cant seem to get rid of it. Ive tried rubbing it while polishing the car but to no avail. Anyone got any tips to get rid of it without damaging the paint. Thanks lads.

Bit of heat and a rub - hairdryer maybe ? Would have to be careful not to loosen glue keeping the spoiler on mind you ....

If it's anything like glue, top tip from removing old badge glue was WD40.

wd40 is going to be worth a try, as Dan says it works great at removing the badge glue.

Liberally spray some Mr.Sheen on, leave for 5-10mins then wipe off.

Wonder wipes are supposed to remove silicone
You should be able to buy them from most diy shops.
