As you may know I fitted a Janspeed duplex recently, but it was a bit too loud (http://www.themgzs.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=28329) for me, so I removed it then now decide to sell it.

So it's an original Janspeed duplex, branded XPower on the pipes, for a mk2 saloon 180.
It's a second hand, and may need a wash.

And last but not the least, I'm in France so the you have to add the postage costs, and I don't know how much could it be.

I'm looking for £140 + postage fees.

So if you're aware of its sound but still love it, it's for you ! :)

Here is a video I forgot to post on the related thread. Texts in french but useless.

I'd have been all over this if I hadn't just dropped nearly £300 on brand new piper last month!

Glad you like it !

Would you say it sounds like in the video I made ?
Don't you hear the sounds resonates in the cockpit when you're in 2nd, just above 2000 rpm ?

Alittle but at 3,000 till 4,500RPM its the same as the standard box. When you floor it , you hear it more but its a nice sound , not boy racer :)

If you want to sort the resonance adding some sound deadening in the boot, and on the underside of the bootlid will do the trick.

At the moment i like the sound , maybe in a few months it will wear thin but the cars already noisy with them dam polybush engine mounts grrrrr

lol, I got rid of the polybushed engine mounts of my 180, I couldn't be doing with the noise and vibration, oddly the same bushes on the T16 engined one cause no more noise, or vibration than standard bushes, must be a v6 thing I think.

When I had my T16 Montego estate I had a polybush engine mount on the off side mount near the suspension turret. It was far too stiff and I believe contributed to one of the large (and quite robust) bolts on the assembly shearing.

Changed back to normal bush and no problem experienced after that.

I'm a bit wary of where I use poly bushes now, I've done the arb mounts, and links and they've been fine, but the other suspension bushes I'd probably go with the standard bushes, for a more dedicated track car poly bushes are probably a better choice.
