He's had more ebay accounts than I've had hot dinners.

He's been touting that around fb for a while, caveat emptor and all that.

To be fair... if I had the money right now I would buy it and sort it out...

Respraying is cheap enough for me (my Girlfriend is a re-sprayer \ airbrush artist and I get frigging good prices on respray work!) and I have all the parts to put that car back on the road...

But, it looks like I will be forced to move soon as the landlord is being an arse and raising the rent next month (dropped a letter round last night hand delivered to let me know) by £150 a month!! - Nice to know that when he won't fix the leaky roof or dodgy electrics (whole house needs a re-wire)...

I wouldn't want to give any money to "insert name here" as I know the money will only go to the 6 project, but meh it is what it is...

That should have read... I would be TEMPTED TO buy that and sort it out....

I wonder what else is going on under the skin that they are not mentioning? :fish:

Having had dealings with him in the distant past, I'm not tempted in the slightest, unless it goes for 50p, I might consider it in that case

Love the rhubarb and custard effect with the yellow bonnet and red panels!

As with anything you are buying, the law says "buyer beware".

My personal advice, would be, go and see the car, go for a long test drive and judge the car for yourself.

I know nothing about the car, or its history, it could be worth the money and if you know what you are doing mechanically, with the number being broke, bits shouldnt be a problem.

So just the usual checks, make sure its never been in an accident, etc.

e4 code on the AC and looks like one fog missing. no engine bay shots is a bit weird aswell on a car thats being sold as mechanically modified. pretty sure it was in an accident.

you lot do make me laugh.

Shoot me down I saw this car earlier. Was bought as a Cat C however was worked on by said unnamed person in 2008 or something where it had the modifications mentioned which is 6 years ago and still going? bar the crash.

Pics are bad and I haven't read advert but it is what it is? all this long test drive stuff and so on it just stupid. Somebody will get a well spec'd car with this.
