View Full Version : Broken Screw/Bolt....

Was doing a bit of tlc today on the Zed, replacing standard steel bolts with stainless steel ones, I bought off a friend on FB....Unfortunately, sheared hed off one....Now cant see what it actually holds on?? Any ideas???

Do they hold the bracket for the top hose on the K4 engine, not sure if you have that bracket on the KV6?

a bracket the connects the top front panel to the lower structural bar just below the rad.

Drill & tap time...

On a race or track car with bonnet pins, no.

Your top panel will now flex, and as your bonnet catch is right in the middle by the support...

For the sake of running a drill and tap down it...

Much cheaper than a crumpled bonnet and smashed windscreen!
