Does anyone know of any places in the North East that can programme fobs on a mk1? I took it to Rovetech in Stockton but they said their computer wouldn't talk to the car because of a problem with the car, and that it would have to be booked in to locate and fix it at £50 an hour. I'm not disputing this but would like a second opinion. I had the same issue with Toyota a few years ago who totally f**ked up my car trying to code a new key. When I took it to an independent he sorted it straight away.

There are several firms that will do it remotely

http://www.technozen-electronics.co.uk/
(I'd recommend him, don't know anything about the others)

or there is a firm in Widnes that you can take the car to

Perfect. I'll get it sorted through technozen I think. Thanks for that.
