Why? Why release another and ruin what we call a ZS? Can't say I like it at all, words fail me, well i do have some words but can't really share them! Wheels look too small for starters.

Thoughts?

Ffs, ruining the naming and I feel that it really
Messes with the brand identity tbh. No one will know what people are on about.

Also the wheels do look a bit out of place! I’d agree.

Was to be called the XS until they realised Jaguar owned that name! Had to redo all the brochures apparently. I suppose if it brings in the money then fair enough, but the brand needs a sports car/sports saloon!

A bit like the TF and the TF.

At least both tf’s were two seater convertible sports cars though.

50 year gap between the tf's though.

ZEEZ I just saw a video on this

It looks horrible, and why oh why are they still messing around with 5 speed gearbox's and engine with zero power

Scary stuff, It looks like a bodybuilder who forgot legday the wheel are tiny

Sometimes you need a model to appeal to the masses to generate income for niche products.

I hope they sell them but re-invest in a decent sportscar.

They showed quite a special ev sportscar at one of the recent shows. Models like this are needed to generate the income and increase brand awareness.

My only gripe with it is that they called it a ZS rather than assign it a new model....

Given it is so different from previous I find it bizzare that they'd call it the same thing.

Other than that I've not got anything to say about it, I'll never drive one, never own one, so not even going to bother to look at it...

I'm waiting for when it gets a few sales and we get some confused new model owners appear (and probably disappear)

I don't think they should have called it the ZS but doesn't look too bad. It appeals to the masses and for the brand it's what they need if we are ever going to see the MG brand survive never mind produce another 2 seater sports car

WTF are mg thinking calling it the zs . To be honest for the money and looks outside and in its not that bad I wouldn't own one though. They are so far behind the main stream brands ie ford, Vauxhall etc in the powertrain department but suppose that's why they cost so much cheaper . To sum up I,m not arsed one way or another about the new zs coz it will never interest me but calling it a zs that pisses me off . Haven't the Chinese ruined the mg brand enough without bringing back the old model names wouldn't be so bad if it were a hot hatch , saloon but an suv shame on you mg .
