Well my insurance is up at the end of next month so I thought I better get looking.

I'm currently paying £1300 on the ZS as my policy from the ZR (all mods declared) was carried over and added too.

So far I've only been able to get onto the Direct Line site as I'm at work, and I'm waiting on Adrian Flux getting back to me. I'm actually quite supprised at the quote.

£780 for just me

£650 if I stick my dad on as a named driver

That's nearly £100 less than the ZR was!

I pay £520 for my 180, not bad for 25 and 1 accident

Mine is about the same £774 with all declared (and only the filter was counted as a valid mod). 3 year NCB, 1 Speeding fine, No accidents & turn 26 in just over a month.

try green light as they were very good for the st with mods but you can only use them if you have no claimes discount and as mine wasnt valid had to go with another..

I'll give them a bash buddy

I like the sound of Direct line becuase they are UK only call centres, cover your costs if you're hit by an un-insured driver and don't seem to care about mods... the sheet didn't even ask if I had any!

Double check the mods as they should be declared. In the event of a claim you could find yourself devoid of all cover.

Whatever you do, make sure that you speak to a human, as the site doesnt usually mention mods - I would be surprised if the DL quote was correct tbh!

yeah well with me being offshore just now phoning is a bit tricky, I don't have any details to hand and have to "gesstimate" a few dates. I'm just looking for a ballpark figure just now

Silly question, but how many mods do you have mate??

Just the cat-back and wheels at the moment, but will be a manifold and air filter very soon.

Would also like a company with semi-dencent ICE cover

With only a couple of mods it may be worth Zurich online. They are note always cheap but I think worth a try. Other than that Norwich Union through a good broker will accept most mods. Hope this helps!

cheers, I'll give them a try
