All you got to do now is to mark it out and hope you haven't got it wrong! But knowing my luck it may already be marked out on the reverse side!

I had to mark out my bumper to take the second exhaust pipe, that was bad enough! But being an engineer, it was perfect! :smartass:

yeah put another thread up asking for the size of the gap to the right, so i get it in the right place. then am gonna draw round it like a template and then get cutting :D at least the cut will be hidden by the heatshield :)

Should be easy enough, place masking tape around the area as it is including the trim width. Mark the centre position of the exhaust tailpipe at top dead centre. Is the area to be cut a removeable item from the main bumper? Either way take it off and use the mark to set the trim to and use this as the stencil. Cut slightly undersize incase and then trim to fit. I used a dremel and slitting wheel on mine then a rat-tail file to profile it clean.

nah its attached to the bumper, doesnt remove, goes all the way under the car and i need to cut a big section from there first.

i was just gonna fit it in the standard place for a mk2 :) will need a new hacksaw blade :)

The exhaust is way too quite for any ZS, I couldn't wait to find an excuse to replace mine. I'm really pleased with the one I have, sounds better with age and looks the mutts nuts too. Give it time Sammy, it will all come together and you will still have a cracking car. I like to feel we are in one of those exclusive clubs and know we have something special that not many people realise exists unless they drive one.

100% agree.

Did you ever read the review Evo magazine gave the 180? they sang it's praises and said that lots of people would never realise it's potential due to the fact they viewed it as a car for 'the old brigade'.

How sad is that statement! Oh well, we will just have to continue to drive the old mans car then!

In time it will become a classic and much sought after. The more I think about it, the more I intend to keep it forever. I think this is one of those cars I may live to regret selling, if I ever did decide.
