Tax disc warning

Went into my local DVLA office this morning to pickup my tacho card for lorry. Thought i may as well tax the car for 6 months while i was there. handed over £97.50 and in return the computer issued a nice new tax disc until end of August.
walked away from service counter then it suddenly struck me, tax disc starts at end of month till end of August. 5 ******* months!!!!!!
went back to counter and got it changed to a september one.
Bloody DVLA computer is issuing 5 months instead of 6 so, if your tax is due check the disc you get given as they had issued these since 15th of this month.
Robbing bastards!!!!!!

thats a poor oversight on their behalf. I imagine alot of people wont notice until several months down the line!
