Basic vehicle maintainence

How many of you do it,I.e check all fluid levels, tyre pressures, check lights and how often be honest

Havn't put a vote in Luke as it doesn't have my appropriate box - i check every 2 weeks and before every major journey :)

Ticked weekly, but not usually that often for tyre pressures - but do have a quick look that none look flat.

When I had a small coolant leak I was checking about twice a day, nearly took over my life!

I'm monthly which is quite poor but in my defence i'm a lazy bstd.

I selected 'Every now & again' as i only really do it when i'm heading off on a long journey / to a rally...

Headlights, and tyre pressures are what i'd check most regular. Coolant really only gets checked when i have the bonnet open for some reason. :(

I check the tyres every time I wash it, wich is normally every week or so. Fluids and other stuff normally every month

Usually check tyres fortnightly and fluids weekly to fortnightly or before a long journey. Check bulbs about every 3 months or whenever I feel like it.

I have clicked weekly because i do it when i wash the car. However i have been known to let it go for two weeks if the weather is bad.:chair:

Never for me......I have faith in the car :D if she seems odd or I can see/hear/smell/sense something wrong I will take a look......if it worries me I just book it in to EMS and they will advise what needs doing :laugh:

Problem for me........so much stuff has been replaced there isn't much old bits left :rofl:

I checked my Pilot the other week...........good as gold that van :thumbsup: ........I can tell it has been ages since I lifted that bonnet as the hinges had rusted solid and it stayed up on its own without needing the prop to be used :laugh:

Mine varies as the zed is not used frequently but for fun. So it gets checked once a month on average due to little use. If it is to be used for a long trip then it will get the full works.

I check my headlights almost every time pull up behind someone, tail and brake lights when I am next to a handy shop window. I keep an eye on the tyres but don't check the pressures as often as I should. Fluid levels don't get checked that often either. I have to check all this and more on my work car every day however!
