Posted it here before but it's been a while and I'm bursting to show off my new roof.

Thanks for the comments. All positive which is good, and a bit surprising. I've had some p1ss taking at work, but nothing major. I think most people are surprised with how good it looks. Some of them even asked how much the respray was on the roof, not knowing that it's decals !! And they take the p1ss out of me !!!

Got to leave it for a week or so for the glue to dry before I can give it a wash, so you can expect a few before and afters next week to go on here.

i dont understand why theyd p**S take though, your just a person who has had a good idea and sticking with the brit theme for MG.

id like to see what ideas they would have if it were their car!

I don't know why peeps take the pi$$ either, too scared to show their patrism or faith in MG! Top marks again for the job done, I wonder what the real union jack would look like on a trophy blue :hmmm: photoshop anyone!

In fairness I think it's more to do with a married 37 yr old man with 2 kids, actually wanting to do stuff to his car and enjoy owning and driving it, rather than just having a car and using it as a tool to aid travel.

All light hearted stuff.

Just the Red and White bits as decals and the Blue from the flag as the roof itself.... that could be interesting... :D

Or different shades of blue?

My boss has exactly the same decals on his BINI same colours and everything. He gets asked same question, how much was the spray and what greys were used?

Sorry mate .... are you actually asking me that question, or is that what your boss gets asked ?

Just in case .... I contacted a guy who sells the kits for "Bini's", gave him the measurements and he sent me the kit. 10 year vinyl ... good quality stuff. I then spoke to a guy who does sign writing in his spare time, and he put it on for me. Total cost to me was £75. :super:

Sorry dude. Yeah my boss gets asked it all the time. Funny to see their faces when he says. No mate, its a sticker.
