Black MG ZS 1.6 Ralley (face lift with vented Kit)

Good condition throughout, used as a first time company car so always kept clean and maintained regardless of cost to keep it on the road, interior is in mint condition, alloys wheels may need refurbed but are by no means unsightly, car was sadly bought as Cat D (paint damage) however it has been professionally repaired looks great (as you can see in the pictures)car comes with really good speakers, kenwood head unit and remote control, air con, legal window tints......just a generally nice car......and a lot of car for the money. I have also just replaced the exhaust mid section and back box as it was blowing when it went for the MOT which runs out in November......please not that i have more pictures of the car available by request, if you have any questions please call.....no agencies, tyre kickers or test pilots! Thanks....link to my pistonheads add is below...thanks www.pistonheads.com/sales/519170.htm (http://http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/519170.htm)

Link doesn't work - and im curious ; what on earth is a ralley 110 ? I wasn't aware MG ever made any 'Ralley' editions ? I thought Peueot had the rights to that name ?

hopefully that will work

my old ZR 105 was a Rallye II version, it just ment that it had a few extra bits as standard

Just allong the road from me too, my other half's brother is after a ZS so I'll let him know about it

MGR never made the "Rallye" ZS, although some dealers did advertise this!!!, however they did make the "Rallye ZR" and that had the bodykit, Spoiler etc.

Anyway, you can tell it has been rear ended as the "ZS" badge is in the wrong place.

I like the 'No test pilots' bit at the end - my works van is faster than a 1.6 ZS !!! ;)

A 1.6 in todays climate is quite appealing :D

Yes i must admit, they sure do make economical sence in all means of the word - all the looks of the range topper but minus the nasty bills associated with it ! If getting into the world of MG's is a potential buyers aim then i think the 1.6 ZS makes far more sence than the 1.4 ZR105. Good luck with the sale anyway :)

Thats the reason why we got rid of the R75 V6, in favor for a 1.6 Astra, running 2 V6's was getting a bit of a strain.

In todays climate something has got to give. Good job the wife only works close to home as her little Jimny isn't that good on gas, it's only good for local trips, it isn't geared for 'A' roads as such. It's a good job I have my 1.4 Xsara as that is pretty good on gas, the only thing that worries me is that it is over 170k miles now!

couple of points to the smart arse body repair specialist........the car hasnt been rear ended.....the car was CAT D'd due to paint damage........battery acid and a few panels kicked in.......this ment the car had to go for a full re-spray..........just because the badge is in a different place doesnt mean the car has been rear ended....christ that annoys me!!

and as for the no test pilots bit.......my lotus elise got writen off on a test drive by a colin m,crae wannabe........so sorry for being weiry of folk driving my car.....................and yes in todfays climate the 1.6 aint that fast but for a first time company car at the age of 22 it was all my company would give me at the time........hope this answers the smart arse comments on here.................all in all the ive had the car a year and although its a 1.6 layland its not done me wrong!

for a first time company car at the age of 22 it was all my company would give me at the time

how come you are selling it then? Did you buy it off the lease company?

markymole

yes you can stir it with a stick now eh.lol!!

I just dont like people making comments about a car they know nothing about...if they read the advert it clearly ststes that the car was CAT D'd due to paint damage.......and by stateing "you can tell its been rear ended because of the badge" aint the best statement to have on a page when your trying to sell your car!........so many appologies!!

I work for myself......whej i first started the company i gave myself a company car allowance to offset against the buisness at the time the MG was in price band, had 4 doors n looked ok, thats why i went for it, the reason im selling it is i now have a new company car which i already have and the MG is taking up space.

ah that makes a bit more sence now

I wouldn't annoy Kev though, he's a big lad... that and he'll probably just ban you. To be honest the badge comment was a fair one, considering your first ever post on here was trying to flog a car. The number of times cars have come up that look ok and have a great ad but turn out to be total dogs is amazing, so you have to look for little details like that

Ross, Your dead right mate, about the badges, correct placement would'nt raise suspicion, but where it is located on that car well...........

Markymole, I can take at lot of things on the chin, and your idiotic comments don't phase me at all, oh and yeah I am a smart arse thank you very much!

So 4 posts (2 of which in a topic about selling his car) and you think you can abuse well respected members of the forum. A great way to make yourself popular. As said there is really nothing different about yours over the normal 110 ZS (other than the options fitted of couse)

Somebody got out of bed the wrong way didn't he ?!

Markymole, the reason i picked up on the No Test Pilots line is because it's pure comedy. I then tried to make up for it by praising the fact your car fits in well with todays economicaly minded current climate. Yet all you manage to pick up on is a bit of ribbing and fail to notice when people actualy try to assist your sale.

Not the best idea to start upsetting people on here but you've got balls, i'll give you that. Good luck with the sale, but leave the attitude out and you might actualy sell it sooner rather than later ! :)

Well said Mat!

Markymole, I wouldn't take a minute to get the correct measurements to relocate the "ZS" badging, therefore putting any concerns that a potential buyer may have behind you.
