Howdy all,

If nobody knows it there is a website - http://www.petrolprices.com

Will tell you the cheapest prices in your area :) can set it up for weekly email updates as well!

Anyway, on Sunday I paid 120.9p for standard unleaded from my local Shell, just looked on the website this morning and it reads this!

The distance they have to travel to deliver the fuel?

It isn't the distance travelled to deliver the fuel, that i can assure you otherwise where i live would be one of the cheapest going as i live 10 miles from the 3rd largest refinery in England ! Unbelievably, it is the distance from the head office. For example, if a head office was in Birmingham then it would be cheapest there and it would get dearer the further you radiate out from the centre point. Anyway, ours certainly hasn't gone down - it's still 115.9p per litre.

113p here. Tamworth has always seamed to be one of the cheapest places in the country for fuel.
