I think i may be screwed in that case as the other plip has gone walkies out of my room

although it does open the doors fine and dandy theyre is no blipping noise when the imboiliser kicks in just the hazards

there is no reason why the car shouldnt start by just using the key itself.... the key does exactly the same as the remote, disables the alarm & imobiliser. thats an unusual one.

Have you tried disabling the immobiliser with override the code?

If the immobiliser is faulty don't you have to 'key in' the code through the ignition switch?

not through the door

Edit:

Well the car is fixed was something really silly and it could have cost me a lot if id let it go away on the recovery truck £50 to tow it away then god knows how much for an SCU

I've had the whole dash out of the ZS105 recently to replace the heater. Got it all back together yesterday to find the same symtoms as above..hazards flashing when ignition is on. Thought I had a electric gremlin.

Quick search on here found this thread..problem solved, no fuss! love these forums! :)
