To be honest, Im quite impressed with this first episode of the new series.

I like the new set and presentation (much better than the cheesy diner which I hated), the new presenter seems competent and likeable, and so far they havent done any of their safety test films, which I found boring on the whole.

Big improvment on last series then! IMO!

As for the head to head... the Impreza liked going sideways eh! I was disappointed by the way the Evo handled the cone test though (does the car not have launch control?).

Those 3 are still there. I dont mind them though, Plato's a bit... hrm, but the others dont bother me.

Tiff's my favourite, though on my last car's owners club, people seemed to hate him! He can be a bit into himself sometimes, but hes a superb driver. I sometimes think he's the Stig ;)

imo topgear is getting boring JC doing the challenges and always winning, getting a bit dated and needs new blood, but ive never liked JC
