Plenty advice on here about servicing and modifications etc mate .... but not from me. I know how good they are ....but not how the machanics work !

Follow my above link, look at what needs doing, asses your skills.
Most of the ZS servicing can be done by a confident home mechanic.
Only exception is the belts & maybe the coolant(vacuum fill is specified)

Hi there and welcome to the site

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but if yours is a 2002 180 then it is the dreaded 6 year/90k service which is all the timing belts etc be prepared for a bill around £700 and this is not one to do yourself!

Phew....thought that may have been a BIG shock for you!!!

Best to get somewhere that done them before, I'm sure someone willl be along to recommend someone localish to you but if you fancy a trip up to the midlands I (and many others) will recommend Lates at Rugby www.lates600.com

as above mate, i would try and do all the easy stuff yourself just to save a few pennies.

I would reccommend going to lates as he does a superb job and a lot cheaper than anyone else.

:hi: as above, if it needs the belts, then there are people capable of doing this for around £425 (just belts, tensioner and bolts) or £530 for the 90k service schedule.

PS, what's the username about?, you had me worrying when I first saw that one pop up
