It's from a lot later than 1992 - would guess more like 2004ish

Looking on TG site Richs' lap was in series 7 - I think these are numbered beginning with the new format (if you started from TGs inception probably William Woolard was still presenting in 7)

Not the funniest thing he has done, try searching Youtube for "Rich Hall and QI"

Absolute rubbish. By the way, the current format of Top Gear (ie where that clip came from) started in 2002. I was on the 3rd ever show when tickets were easy to get !

I think as a one-off in the next series they should do one show using the old presenters: Angela Rippon, Chris Boffy, William Woolard & Noel Edmonds, maybe even find Frank Page if he's still with us

I saw that episode on Dave the other day.
Clarkson knows the 25 isn't as old as 1992, think he was just on his usual wind up.

I did find the song quite funny though! :whip:

Glad it wasn't just me then ! So it's text talk - like the stuff in the forum rules/guidelines that we aren't surposed to use and rightly so.

It's not text talk at all. I don't use it in text's because nobody would ever know what it means.

I'm used to using it on another forum which is full of computer geeks so pick up on it really quickly :).
