I need to get mine done too... they were curbed to hell when I bought em and Ive added one or two scrapes too (for some reason I always have to park with the wheels milimetres from the curb, and sometimes I missjudge it :oops:)

I have the wheels all in various states of repair the one in the picture has been filled sanded primed and a couple of coats of paint so still needs laquered, one more is sanded, filled and primed one more is sanded and filled the other which is the worst one is as it was when i got it off Craig, i was thinking about masking off the rim and doing chrome around the edge of the wheels but seeing it done in black alone got me thinking about leaving them just black what do you all think. I am also thinking about a how to if the wheels come up as i hope if folk think it would be beneficial to the site

typical really my mate has been powdercoating for the last 15 years and the minute i need him to powder coat stuff he packs it all in and goes to work bloody warehousing leaving me alone with a tin of spray paint:thumbsdown:

Got two of my wheels done and started playing with the centre caps as well, Caps are just an idea and were hand done roughly but i quite like them what do you think might just get MG logos instead of my initials

I kerbed one of mine this week, really pissed off, had to take evasive action from some bellend who cut across my lane on a one way sytem in town! Felt it hit the kerb, got a 3" gash and all the powder coat has gone down to the aluminium. Looks shoite!

Yes but you have the facilities and equipment to do it in that time i am a gardener with the council and only have been attacking them in my spare time with elbow grease and ***** aerosols.So when they are done and i am happy with them i have a sense of satisfaction that i done it myself as a complete amateur:hooray:

I think a set of black alloys suit the zs. Even the standard alloys in black look much better.

was only farting about with the caps to be honest, they will be green but i am going to go with the MG logo though.Now need to get the other two finished and save up for tyres.

The wheels are black it's just the crap light that makes it look greyish but they do look good in the flesh to be honest.
