Annoying Clicking Noise in the boot

Anyone help here.....

When travelling along at 30-40 mph I get a rattle from the boot it almost sounds like something is tapping the glass, have taken out spare tyre, jack etc... rear parcel shelf, and everything else inthe boot, reseated the seats etc.. but I just keep getting this ruddy tapping noise ?

Any clues guys ?

i used to have a bad rattling coming from the boot... check that the boot lock mechanism isnt loose on both the boot lid and just inside the boot!

Mine too!!!!!!!...........sounds like boot area, but mine is coming from offside damper / spring area (top of), so resonates through boot area.
To check, gently rock the car from the nearside corner of body, not up & down, but push the body. Mine then starts to `click`...........very annoying, although sometimes the `click` is there & sometimes not. I am guessing something is not sitting right somewhere & goes out of line every now & then.........or an internal defect in the damper :judge:
