IIRC i dont think the Honda engine was fitted to the 400
And i couldnt see why the 400 head wouldnt fit a 25 as theyre basically the same engine i think

Some Rover 400's were fitted with the Honda engine, but the Honda heads and K series engine are totally different to each other

the k series head for the 1.4,1.6 and non vvc 1.8 are the same, no idea about 1.1, and the honda engines are SOHC and complely different.

if its a rover 25 you will need the head from an EU3 spec engine, combined coils,no distributor and cam sensor.
bubble 400's maintained the Honda D series for the automatic only until the intro of the 45
