Yeah, cleanly beat him ! I thought he would pull back against me and slowlyt pass me but no, i just kept clearly pulling away and he wasn't light on his throttle ! What's up with yours for a puny 1.8 Ashtray to beat it - VIS ? Plenum ? BOTH ??!!

Those damn VIS motors. Get it fixed, find one of those strangled V8's and show them how it's done ! :D

I would have thought it'd be close... I think their quarter miles are within about half a sec of each other (?).

Pretty cool though to beat a RWD V8 :D:D

Yeah, i thought it would be close too but the result being the other way around ! Plus he didn't get any wheel spin. Just goes to show what a few basic mods' can do to a ZS180. I don't think it would have been the same if it was factory spec'.

How much do the vis motors cost?' I think i have a problem with them as my 180 seems to struggle a bit now.

They can be repaired if you are that way inclined, a full thread on this can be found over on xpf. If bought new, I think I have seen prices of around £58 mentioned. There is nothing to them, a small pcb, one tiny motor and a couple of v3 micro switches.
