Gave the zed a wash this morning and tootled off to Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit. Managed to drive around the centre of the circuit going into the paddock area and took some 40 odd pictures, here's a few.

Which one shall I use for calendar? ;)
This one perhaps?

Agree 1st one, last time I was at Goodwood it was with Volvo, let us loose on Volvo cars but the best bit was taking a 38 ton HGV around the track. Never driven an HGV before but it was so easy, two pedals, little dinky hand brake, loaded up with bricks to give us a feel of a loaded truck. You forgot about the trailer just took off, lucky we didnt have to back it, last time I tried backing a 12 ft trailer ended up jack-knifed in to the rear bumper!!:happy2::happy2:

Very nice pics. I love the white wheels :)

I'd say either first or last for the calendar. First is probs best, but I do like the Goodwood sign in the last too :)

Why not meet up at Goodwood one weekend? There's a cafe there and you can drive under the track to the centre/paddock area. It would look excellent as a backdrop for your BTCC zed

How far of the M25 is it Mick. I join the M25 at the A3 and go eastbound to the M26/M20. Might be something i could do if i left early enough on a friday as i was passing.

Nice photos.

I too have done the circuit in a lorry, a 12 rigid, when I worked for a furniture hire company and we were supplying the festival, I've also done the hill climb in a 7.5 tonner.

Goodwood is a long way from the M25, it's at Chichester on the A27.

Next door to the Rolls Royce works, map here (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=Goodwood,+Chichester,+West+Sussex&sll=54.162434,-3.647461&sspn=9.555675,20.43457&ie=UTF8&ll=50.859277,-0.759366&spn=0.01005,0.019956&t=k&z=16&om=1).

Not sure on what direction you are coming from Murray, A27 east of Chichester.

Your signiture pic is my favourite!
Can you just get into Goodwood or do you need a pass?

Thanks for the comments guys :D

No need for a pass, I drove straight in and went under the track, there's access roads to the aerodrome, cafe, flying club, Mithril Racing, skid pan etc. It was quiet and you could go anywhere you liked, except the track of course.
