Yep... They are extremely expensive. eBay is your best bet but don't expect to get one for nothing there either (well last time i looked anyway).

Theres a guy on ebay that sells load sof them for MG-R's. I've bought a couple off him for cars i've had in the past with them missing.

Dont search in car parts though he lists them in car manuals and literiture (sp)

As said though they dont go cheap.

might have to get me hand in me wallet...not used to that hehe.

Will do some research on ebay.

They are not dear really, when you think of the difference you would expect to pay for a car with one, and athe same car without. the screen price would be far more than £30.

Yes but a blank service book won't help with an older car, you will still be missing all the servicing stamps.

mine is on a 06 plate with 23,000 miles so I will have missed one or two services from the book. When I bought the car thye said they serviced it like....just checked all the levels and the oil and they are all full!

I got my mg without a service book, the car was serviced and sold by sg pelch in edinborough, i wrote them a letter asking them for any service history they could provide me with and if poss a service book, i also tlod them i'd pat any costs, lo and behol service records and a new book arrived stamped and everything. might be worth contacting the dealer if still around and asking them for the same?
where abouts in the toon are you mate, i'll keep my (wye)eye out for you.
