Direct Line are the cheapest for me personally. You'd need to get a quote direct from their website though as they dont appear on comparison websites.

I wish mine were as low as £600! Add another grand on top of that and you have my premium :(

not bad that really i paid £1600 on my first car and it was only a 1.4

Yeah I paid 1600 for my first car too, a 1.5l 107bhp Suzuki. Only had that a year and now I have the Zed, so for 180bhp with one year of driving behind me it aint so bad. Norwich Union wanted 2k off me, and most others were worse still, so Direct Line was my savior :D

I'm still paying about £800 (and i'm 27 in April) so count yourself lucky. Most companies that i've tried said "No quote until you are at least 30". :(

I get that for the 110+. I always assumed i wouldnt get insured on a 180 until I joined this site and found them to be both affordable to buy and reasonable(ish) to insure. Gutted

The cheapest quote is not always the best quote.

I like Bell because they are part of a big name insurer and you can pick and choose the features of the policy which you want. There renewal quotes are a joke though every year i phone them up and they knock a few hundred off the price. Nearly £400 i got taken off it this year

are you paying one lump or monthly with Flux? Caroline just paid hers recently in one lump for the first time and that alone knocked nearly £100 off!

cheers guys, am paying one lump sum and the reason i feel thats expensive is that last year my premium was £340 iirc, so it's really just the postcode change that is bumping up the price. this is me being 28, having 10 yrs no claim, and driving the same, no points an one non fault accident 4 years ago:) will try a few more:) usually when i check what i get with each insurance the one i find cheapest usually has all or nearly all the benefits of the mroe expensive ones:)

Elephant have always been the cheapest by far for me... but after being with them for 3 years I'm just fed up with them

Both the Landy and ZS will be with Flux next year as IMO they are a far better company. Simple things like adding mods or asking questions are so much easier

I was with flux a couple of years ago, and to tell the truth i found them to be a pain in the arse. When i joined them they were very polite and nice etc etc, so thats why i joined them, however when i needed to claim coz my car got nicked, it took them 4 months to pay out....... tossers!!!

Im now with quote a paying out £141 a month. Im 23, with 1 years no claims, had my licence 6 years, 1 stolen vehicle claim and 3 points on the licence.

Did you tell Adrian Flux what your other quote was? They beat my lowest quote (from Bell) by nearly £10.

Also as mine is a 120 with the 180 kit they class it as modified so Bell wouldn't cover damage to the kit where as AF will.

How do you think i feel 46yrs old and paying £496 post codes have a lot to do with it which is a rip off because mine is not parked on a road apart from when i am at work it is behind 7ft high locked gates :( I did get a quote for £296 but had nothing with it.
