dont know, never done a clutch on a 180 before, but the best thing is my mate is a mechanic and we are using the ramp at his work to do the job so it will make a difference not to be lying on my back with the car on little ramps doing it LOL, but it does look pretty straight forward job we reckon its gonna take us less than 3hrs to do it, just thought i could take my camera and and use the pics for the "How to" section LOL

ERM!!!!!!!!!!! Excuse me for being thick!!!!!!!!!!

Castrol oil...........4.5 litres and not 5 litres?!?!?! I thought it always came in 5 litre cans...........in which case.........a litre extra free is actually a bit of a con!

Good news on getting ya car sorted though matey.

Yes Jim, it is a con, no different to Mobil 1, that is 4 litres IIRC.

it is a con as most cars have 5 litres, but wasnt fussed as i got the oil from focus do it all, as our branch is closing down so it was in the sale for £16 LOL

well the clutch is in and done, yipppeeeeee, no more slipping clutch, the job went very well and only took 2 1/2 hours, so much easier when its on a ramp LOL and its quite an easy job to do

its made loads of difference, the clutch is now lower towards the floor now and it was a very eaasy job really apart from one bolt which took ages to undo as you could only get in with a spanner and do a quater of a turn at a time as there is a bracket that the downpipe fits onto in the way as i didnt want to take the down pipes off but apart from that it was easy really :mbounce:
