Having not long owned my ZS 180, I have read up on here and other forums about the oil in the inlet issues, and think mine is suffering ( sticking throttle on occasion) so i need a catch tank firring to prevent this.

Anyone recommend places to buy from? Looked on ebay, but there appear to be two designs and thats it. Some people on here have had carbon ones which look nice and aren't too big.

Budget = little as possible, but function over cost really.

they basically all do the same thing, but are either square or round

I've seen pictures of the carbon versions and looking at them they do seem to be a slightly better design

At any rate they all do basically the same thing, just some do it with a bit more bling! Putting wire wool - like a pan scrubber - in it will also help by catching even more oil from the passing flow

Yeah, that was what i thought. Having been burnt on ebay a couple of times, i just thought i would see if anyone has any recommendations as to where to get one from.

as I said in your other post a few people have bought them recently, so they will be better placed to answer that one

Ebay is probably your best bet for choice tbh.

I fitted this one (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Carbon-baffled-oil-catch-can-breather-tank_W0QQitemZ320329089110QQihZ011QQcategoryZ72205 QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1742.m153.l1262) not long ago. Its real carbon fiber though so its more expensive than most.

This is where my dad "advised" me to fit it (knowing nothing about oil catch tanks) - not ideal, so I'll probably be moving it to behind the driver side headlight so it can sit vertical... I just need to get some petrol hose so it will reach :)

So yeah, I'd suggest behind the drivers headlight or if you have a non-standard induction it should fit where the standard airbox was.
