well the car is 5 years old now so i think its time to change the coolant and brake fluid. what is a reasonable price for this. i am also looking at getting the gear box oil changed aswell as i dont know when/if ever these 3 things have been done

Well, the coolant should be changed every 4 years and the brake fluid every 2 years, so your servicing schedule is a little out.

i know the serviceing schedule. it was a ex mg rover car so it may have been done. i have only had the car a month so i think its best i get it done. how many people have their coolant and brake fluid changed as per schedule anyway!!!!

I'm pretty sure mine was serviced as per the book before I got it, the service book seems to say so anyway.

speaking of servicing do local dumps / recycle places still dispose of used engine oil? as i have last years to get rid of befor i can do another change this week lol

My local tip still has this facility.i imagine most will.
That reminds me I have to recycle some of mine

take it to the counsil. they should do it. if not be sli' and leave it in their building they will have to dispose of it them!!
