as far as i am concerned they can keep it after all the problems that it has caused over the years

i would not even give them £500 for it

I think your a bit out of order to be honest Ralph.

your Engine needs a very experienced mapper and a long time on a rolling road. much the same as sprintex units could of done with. and proven when done cause no problems.

Your engine setup has had very little road life, so how are you going to know what problems it may cause???

Common sense tells anyone buying it that it will need extensive mapping, standalone ecu etc, it would be a custom fit wouldnt it so obviously that means more parts, time and costs.
You cant moan at that starting price though and as for relaibility compared to the sprintex, no offence but i know which my money would be on,this was built by pros for a touring car wasnt it ?...so probably no expense spared.

Well, I've heard that MGR paid over £28,000 for this engine to be developed. My guess is that this engine has forged pistons, etc.

i agree cant moan at price, it was sold by janspeed for a grand a few years ago, strange, it never made it in a tourning car, still its a bit of history !!!

its the way forward really, if its a vag unit your talking of, shame to lose the v6. but theres not much out there anymore that will do what the vag will do.
