can any body help? im getting a rattle from here. its gets louder when the engine is revved. is this a vis motor?? is it the one that gives the kick a 3000rpm or 4000rmp. as i get the one at 3000 and not so much at 4000 although the car seems to accelerate fine

sounds like a plenum fault........
BUT............check the purge valve first by disconnecting it.......... its on the end of throttle body end (bottom right corner of your blue coloured boundary).............like an upturned round canister.......take the electric feed from it and the clacking stops..

whats a purge valve jim? does it have a push fit type electrical conection

Connected the the charcoal canister.It has an electrical plug on it

Coolant looks low on that blue car.
Purge valve i would say from where the noise is coming from

Ticking?!?!? lol The Red Devils rattles like mad!!!! Thats how I know the engine is running..........if it stops the engine has just died!! :laugh:

i have never herd it before i will keep my eye on it. like i said theres no drop in performance so im not overly worried!
