Heres my baby,
Owned since Aug '02, R45 chrome handles, chrome mirrors, R45 V6 front bib spoiler, MGF interior mirror, late R45 full leather seats, R45 mudflaps, additional badging, "Straights" alloys, front foglights, additional soundproofing.

And probably more bits that I can't think of at the moment

Looking good. Nice and tidy, and shiney to boot.Pic taken a day or two after it had been clayed and quick polish - is actually covered in road dust, but you can't tell on pic.

(clay is wonderful stuff that I came across on mg-rover.org, didnt think it would make much difference but it has)

Shortly after I bought the Zed I came across a full size spare ("Hairpin" alloy as thats what was on the car at the time) so fitted this along with a false boot floor - full size being much wider and sits higher that the space saver.

Yesterday decided that due to never having had cause to use the spare I would refit the original spare and boot carpet - amazing how much more boot space there is now (only lost about 2-3" depth with false floor)

Of course we all know what will happen in the next week or two, don't we...
If you se a TB ZS running round with space saver on give me a wave

Have got some little projects to do on mates ZS this weekend - R 400 door handles (he is fed up with his ZS ones breaking, despite having been strengthened - his seem to have been made out of a poor batch of plastic or something, very brittle and seem to be "drying out") going to have black surrounds with chrome pulls, seal under door mirror mountings with silicone for wind noise, drivers side sound proofing in footwell (again R400) and fit my home made ally door lock buttons.

Should keep us good for an hour or two

Hard a back breaking couple of hours this morning modifying bootlid mechanism. Have fitted gas struts, was intended to have struts only but they were not strong enough so now have torsion bars & struts - damned lids not gonna drop anymore! In fact someone around the weight of Kylie may not be able to shut it on their own!

You really need to be skinny with long arms to carry out this mod, or small enough to actually get in boot.

Just finished an afternoon of faffing about with mates ZS - Rover 400 door handles fitted but retained chrome pulls (he was fed up with the ZS handles as he seemed to have got a poor batch with one in particular breaking a few times). Surprisingly the 400 handles weren't a straight swap - at some point the door pressings have been changed with the result that the mounting bosses on the handles weren't long enough. Cure was to superglue some washers on to them, there's only about 1mm difference but without the washers the handles were being distorted.
While doors were apart we took the opportunity to fit the home made ally lock buttons I made for him and sealed under door mirror mounting.
Drivers footwell sound insulation being the final job.

Added a new, well 2nd hand, handbrake lever the other day. Reason for replacement was flaky knob syndrome - chrome plating peeling off release button (good old MGR quality). Had a play with a 2nd one I got from scrappy and it seems replacing whole assembly is the easier option - button does unscrew but is so tight the chances are you'll mangle it up when replacing.

After reading of someone elses problems with seat mounts I have added some large square washers to my rear mounts - had to repair front ones a couple of months ago. Touch wood all will be OK now for a while at least.

Worth having a look at mounts if you haven't already - seems a problem most, if not all, 45/ZS models may suffer from eventually.

About time I added a more up to date pic I think.
Not done much to the Zed in the last couple of years apart from recently added the 180 sills & spoilers.
