in very good condition, removed from a mk2 ZR, but i assume they are same accross the MG range?

Not the same across the Range...

Very early ones were screw on, then there were some push fit ones with a larger diameter "hole" and then there was this one... I would suggest this will fit cars from 53\04 onwards, however I am sure Ralph will be able to quote chassis numbers if required :)

Good luck with the sale Shafz, unfortunately it will not fit any of my ZS's otherwise I would have had it off you :)

By early I mean Y reg \ Early 51's

This knob would not fit your stick as your stick is thicker than the hole in this knob... (oooo errr missus)

All ZS gearknobs are push fit. I believe that there may be 2 different sizes, though.

Early ZRs had screw fit gear knobs, but they were later changed to push fit.

went for a quick gear change from 3rd to 4th the other day and pulled mine straight off!

I'll have to pull out on this one mate sorry. Just found out mines a screw on type on an 03 plate? :confused:

i stuffed the inside of the gear knob with cardboard and pushed it on and it ain't pulled off since been like that for three years now.
