Ive got a 180 !!!!!!!!!

just been and got myself a starlight silver mk zs 180 saloon!

thanks to george for driving 180 mile round trip to take me for it and sort it all out for me, plus get it a lot cheaper than was asking!

its got a water leak into the v i think george said, and the clutch is a bit funny, other than that its pretty much sorted, im going georges on monday to sort out the bits and bobs

ive got a 1.6 at the minute and oh my god is there a difference, 3k and it opens up, its got a standard exhaust on but the sound of the v6 is amazing

i need to change my wheels etc over tomorrow and then ill put some pics up, so if anyone has any advice for me on maintaining it please tell

Nice one mate the leak in the v will be the thermostat housing leaking and the clutch most likely will be the crap slave cylinder two pretty easy fixes hope you enjoy 180 life

George has one hell of a reputation going back many years, unfortunatly a lot of it was true which was a shame because he does know his stuff, recently he's sorted him self out and by all accounts is doing what he does better than most and that is repairing motors, especially ZS's, I'd like to think I helped him achive this new direction.

Its a derv!!!:clap2::clap2::clap2: I didnt think I could afford the fuel for the 180, but after a few tweaks, the derv is getting there, 39 mpg last check, and that was up from 34, still its the fun you get out of the car. Also £120 road tax:happy2::happy2::happy2:

Congratulations dude...and yep. The ECU holds torque off until about 3,500rpm because it then realises your flooring it and woooooosh :D

He was at RSM on Tuesday JP and fell in love with it the MK2 Saloon looks awesome in Silver you have a good car there JP and now its all fixed its even better lol
