Thought I'd try one of those sunstrips to see if it'll help cut out some of the sunlight I tend to get now the bucket seat is in and lower than the standard one. Much better as I used to suffer blindness between the visors.

The blue strip is separate to the logo. Available in a host colours for both strip and lettering, bargin I thought for a tenner!

I know what you mean as I wasn't too sure myself. I had the strip on for a week, today I put the logo on. It is purely for practical reasons and not to make it look nice or for personal taste. The last time I had a sunstrip was back in 1985! That was a Castrol one on my Magnum Coupe!

I quite like sun strips, they look good.

Was it annoying to fit? The ones I see on ebay seem to say you need to trim them to fit... sounds easy to mess up!

Looking good Mick..

They do work as well on a standard seat. You have to have them quite a lot deeper though on a racing seat as you sit lower but i'm sure you've found that out already. I want one but looking to get the other wheels first.

Unfortunately that was the closest blue match from the colour chart, so will do. Not easy to fit if you are a fussy ******! I used a few strips of masking tape as a marker, but it still creeped a bit. I also have an applicator which eases the graphic in position and helps to rid the bubbles.

I left it oversize in order to trim the screen surround.

I have fitted door number panels before but used the soapy water solution method to ease it into position before smoothing it into place.

Murray, you changing yours then? The one in the sig looks spot on.

My little bro bought me one for the ZR just like that but i never got around to fitting it. He just put the lettering on and it looks OK.

BTW is that a NASA sticker. ;) And is your other vehicle a spaceship?

Off ebay for a tenner inc p&p. Externally fitted and comes in various colours for both strip and font. I'll find the link and pop it up if you like. LC Signwriting or something like that I think.

Why not? Hardly breaks the bank if you don't like it. At least the two graphics are separate so you can try the strip first then offer up the text.

Make sure it isn't too windy.
Make sure the glass is very clean, use alcohol wipes if possible or glass cleaner.
Use a few tabs of masking tape along the screen to position the front edge level with top line of screen.
A good rubbing tool will be useful, I have a graphic applicator for this.
Take your time.
Sharp craft knife to trim the top to screen rubber, be careful.
A second pair of hands may be useful to get it aligned across the screen if a slight wind.

Have any of you had any problems with these? I'm thinking of putting either a black one on or an anthracite, even though mine looks black most of the time. Do the wipers foul them?

Believe there is a certain height from the steering wheel and as long as its not within that then theres no problem,
