Won't that affect the climate control? I though the sensor was positioned there? I agree the scangauge would look good there as you rightly said, the mk1 looks nice and neat.

Nope won't affect it...
Marty wanted the 'square' so that he knew where the sensor sits and then he can make it in such a way that the sensor fits into the back of it. :)
