the zed just seems to have lost all power, if i put my foot down in second gear lets say, it proper hesitates to pull, its like it tries then gives up and then manages to pull, but yet sometimes its fine? is that stcky vis valves or something?

no just the clutch and coolant leak issues, and new plugs, why?

had this was a faulty lambda sensor, giving the ecu funny signals, and not injecting the right amount of fuel, now pulls like a train in every gear.

thought hed changed the manis too when he did the above work

id say the vis were fooked and needed replacing or at least fixing simple fix really just a bit of solder comes free on one of the connections

I just replaced my VIS motor with a recondition unit from MaxxedRoss, and my rattle has disappeared - so mine must have gone. However, I didnt have any serious performance hits because of it (I dont think anyway!) Ill be taking my old one apart soon so I will know for sure then.

Have a listen to the engine with the bonnet up, if theres a rattle try and locate it. The VIS motors are at the side of the plenum. Im not sure VIS rattle would give you total power loss though??
