Sorry I'm a tube, i just realised i wrote 1.4, i meant 1.8 !!!!

Decent looking car, has a silly tail finisher on it, but other than that very nice and clean. half leather, sun roof, the usual kit.

Think you'll be lucky to get that amount for a mk 1 1.8 but you never know fella.

Good luck.:)

Dont think Ive seen a 54 plate mk1 before (?)

But yeah price does seem a bit steep for a mk1. You can pick up a mk2 180 for that sort of money recently...

54 mk1?

Yeah what i thought. Must have been a very late one out of the showroom as i swapped my mk 1 for the mk 2 nearly as soon as they hit the market and mine was registered in december 04.

Today it comes with a sold sticker, just sold it this morning!

I think you are being hard on the values of your cars, seem quite desireable and i've sold 3 MG's this week between Zr's and Zs's at around 3500-4000 for 04 and 54 plates.

I think if they are mileagy and rough then fair comment but lovely low milers are still holding up!

It's a case of you will get what others are willing to pay, and if there aren't many around your area then that will be good for you.
