Well nearly finished the latest salvage project so thought i'd post up its progress. Didnt take to many pics this time as its only took me 3 weekends to do.

Its a 2003 2.0 TD intercooled. 67k miles and cat C but doesn't need a Vic which is better. Picked it up for £550

This is how it was when i bought it. Bloody primer to cover the signwriting took ages to get off :(

Stipped and pile of scrap parts...

Then i've decided to keep it so i modded it abit. ZR shocks with 35mm avo lowering springs. ZS 180 wheels. Nearly finished now. Just need a bulb holder for passenger indicator and front reg plate. Then a good valet.

and a bonus pic of my mrs's £600 ZR. still had tax and mot but had HGF due to leaking waterpump. The guy sold it so cheap because he was told the engine was scrap. I had it back on the road for under £100

Great how cheap you can pick them up for isn't it? Have you checked if yours needs a vic? i rang the dvla and mine doesn't even though it says on their website all cat c's need to be vic'd

Mines back on the road for well under a grand. Cost me about £800 all together. Should sell for around £1500.

havent checked yet, my mate who does this for a living rebuilding wrote off cars toldme that some cat C cars miss the register, i phoned up about my bcar the other day and that came baqck clear :) but they are a van for the money, did bid on one a few weeks ago which was very light font end but bidding went too high, was thinking about keeping it for my self but i may sell it as they do go for a fair bit
