looks better in the flesh. the outer is proper chrome. its made from solid metal not plastic like the origional one that fades after a year or 2

i have the union jack one in metal too but not got round to putting it on yet. did your georges cross one come with the lugs or is it just glued in place? scared of losing mine whilst driving as it is the stick on type.....

That looks tidy, I like

Really need a new badge on the rear of mine, tis in bad nic to say the least. Surprising how much of an effect a badge can have :)

mine has the stick on tape. it wont go any where. the origional is only held on like that. the lug things on the back of an origional dont hold it in place they are just there for ease of location. in fact the new badge has more tape on the back of it than the origional

cool how did u get the old one off? been toying with idea of small screwdriver under one edge and praying i dont bend or crack the grill as i lever it. more sensible ways greatly received!

i used a small screwdriver on my zt and damaged the grill. this time i got some masking tape around the badge and used a butter knife to prise the old one off. gave it a clean (you will have to pick off the old sticky back from the old badge as some sticks to the car) then popped the new one on. pulled off the masking tape and admired my new badge and un-damaged grill. 5 min job

Lol well when I say ram I ment in the gentle sense. lol At least there were no marks on the grill. Could always get a heat gun on it to help.

does it still fit tightly? i was thinking earlier that if anybody wanted to modified grill why not smooth off the badge. that would look very cool

Yer its fine. You mean like the motobuild grill? Or like K&S on the modded bumper?

Looks good Adam, quality too. I have given up replacing mine now as they just delaminate. I'll be looking to get a decent one.

I have a SS one (one of the ones 'Bullitt' on theMGZR.co.uk got made up) on the front of mine. No de-lamination on it... :)
